Was staying nearby, walked over and got the Philly which was HUGE with tons of meat. Loved the bread and good quality meat with cheese. This ithe sandwich for meat lovers! The Hubbs loved it, I was missing the hot & sweat peppers. Small restaurant with outdoor seating when the weather is good and located in an older neighborhood from the 1930. Great neighborhood location where you can grab a drink some food and visit.

I had just come from the eye doctor and my eyes were dilated, but I was hungry. I have been craving a Reuben sandwich for a while so I thought I would try Scribles. Wow , my Reuben was huge and I could only eat half of one! Not a standard Ruben but the hoagie bun was delicious, with lots of sauerkraut, corned beef, melted cheese and delicious mustard. The chefs take great care in preparing the quality ingredients. The server was spot on and answered all my questions. I will definitely be back when I am ravenous! The place is small and parking is a bit tricky. Worth the small inconvenience.

Yelp to the rescue on our road trip. Stopped in Eugene for lunch and found Scribles. It's in a residential neighborhood and looks like a dive bar. It was busy when we arrived and there is a large menu of sandwiches salads and flatbreads to choose from. Both the Jeter sandwich, and the Cobb salad were good choices. The Jeter is a rarity, as it's so big I could only eat half. It's huge. Service was friendly and the place has a cool, laid back vibe. Worth a stop for lunch.

I've heard so many wonderful reviews that I had to try out it for myself. The service was top notch even though it was lunch time and they were busy. The inside is pretty small and there were people trying to get to go orders as well but it all worked perfectly. I ordered the Rueben and bad on me for not reading the full description. It was not your typical Rueben as I was disappointed to see that it was served on a roll and not rye bread. The meat was plenty and had great flavor, it could have used more sauerkraut but that's a personal preference. My friend ordered the Antipasti Salad, it was huge and stacked with meats and cheese, peppers and fresh greens. She disliked their ranch dressing but again we all have our personal tastes. We both had a beer with our lunch and the total was $50 with plenty of leftovers, well worth the price. So glad we went, I'll be back.

Those sandwiches are great! Huge, freshly sliced meat, good fresh bread, delicious! We had one with pastrami, roast beef and turkey (with arugula and pepperoncinis), and one Italian with salami, ham, pepperoni and prosciutto (lettuce, tomato). Service was friendly and fast. Very good experience.

Yelp reviews brought me here and not disappointed! Great Italian sandwich, nice potato salad, and never-tried-before Marionberry Crème Soda. Refreshing!! Nice service, old time ambiance sports-bar feel.

Had the chili stuffed with Jack pancetta and shaved parm, yeah yall killed it. We wolfed it down. I ordered the southwest chicken salad again, great flavors and ingredients!!!!!! My friend ordered the coob and she at the whole thing. Server was really nice and friendly and got our orders out fast and it was busy. I would definitely recommend this one, so many other good things to choose from. Again, the chili was delicious,Ice tea was always full and iced in the Heat Wave . I'm a fan of scribbles, and will be back ! Oh yeah, the bathroom is outside of the building, it's not hard to find. Sincerely, Andrew Lowe Thanks for making this city a better place with meals like these, I love fresh food. Outstanding experience.

Wish I would have taken a pic of the toasted Italian sandwich my daughter and I shared... I haven't had a grinder like this since high school--- it was packed with Italian meats. My mama had The Fadda... an Italian flat bread. They don't skimp on the toppings. We asked for a specialty (my version) Cadillac Margarita and our guy made it perfectly
